Working at Beit Youssef means being part of a place where guests feel at home and memorable occasions are celebrated.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Waiter and Barista role based in Lebanon. The team member will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously. Daily responsibilities include preparing and serving coffee and other specialty drinks, maintaining cleanliness in the dining and barista areas, and ensuring tables are set and reset properly. The role also involves handling payments, answering guest questions, coordinating with the kitchen, and supporting team members during busy periods. The Waiter and Barista is expected to provide consistent, friendly service and help create a positive guest experience.Qualifications Strong customer service orientation, including polite communication, active listening, and a friendly, professional demeanor.Experience in waiting tables, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and managing multiple tables or guest requests.Barista skills, such as preparing espresso-based drinks, operating coffee machines, and maintaining beverage quality and presentation.Basic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system skills, including processing payments and issuing receipts accurately.Ability to work on your feet for extended periods, carry trays or beverages safely, and maintain a clean and organized work area.Teamwork and reliability, including punctuality, flexibility with shifts (weekends and evenings), and willingness to support colleagues.Prior experience in restaurants, cafés, or hospitality settings is preferred; training may be provided for motivated candidates.Basic proficiency in local languages; additional language skills are an advantage for interacting with diverse guests.
