JOB PURPOSEThe Warehouse & Packing Manager is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory management, and export packing activities to ensure products are stored, handled, packed, and shipped safely, efficiently, and in compliance with customer specifications and international transportation requirements.This role requires strong expertise in managing large-scale engineering products and developing optimized packing solutions that protect products throughout domestic and international logistics.II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Warehouse ManagementLead and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, and dispatch.Ensure efficient warehouse layout and storage strategies for oversized and heavy engineering products.Optimize warehouse space utilization while maintaining product accessibility and operational safety.Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and periodic stock audits.Establish and continuously improve warehouse procedures, KPIs, and operational standards.Coordinate material movements with Production, Project Management, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams.2. Packing & Export PreparationDevelop and implement packing strategies for oversized, high-value, and fragile engineering products.Ensure packing methods comply with customer specifications, project requirements, and international shipping standards.Design cost-effective packing solutions that maximize product protection while optimizing transportation costs.Supervise packing activities, ensuring proper handling, labeling, documentation, and shipment readiness.Coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams to determine appropriate packing materials and protection methods.Continuously improve packing efficiency through process optimization and standardization.3. Inventory & Material ControlMaintain accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS systems.Monitor inventory levels and minimize stock discrepancies.Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions.Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent product damage or deterioration.Manage packing material inventory and consumption.4. Safety, Quality & ComplianceEnsure warehouse and packing operations comply with HSE regulations and company safety standards.Promote safe handling practices for heavy, oversized, and high-value products.Ensure compliance with export regulations, customer requirements, and quality standards.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.5. Team LeadershipLead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors, packing supervisors, and warehouse staff.Establish performance objectives and monitor team productivity.Identify training needs and build technical capabilities within the warehouse and packing teams.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.6. Cross-functional CollaborationWork closely with Production, Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure timely material flow and shipment readiness.Support project execution by ensuring products are packed and delivered according to project schedules.Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions related to warehouse or packing issues.III. QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 7–10 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Proven experience managing export packing operations for oversized or high-value products.Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).Good command of English, both written and spoken.
