Warehouse Clerk

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for supporting and maintaining the daily operations of the warehouse. This includes handling shipping and receiving, picking and packing orders, picking production lists, and general upkeep of the warehouse space. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to lift heavy objects, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders and packing slipsInspecting goods for possible damage and discrepancies with packing slipMoving and organizing skids of finished goods and raw materialsLabeling and storing ingredients, materials and products in designated locations including allergens and quarantinePicking and packing orders according to customer requirements and company protocolPicking and processing Production listsKeeping the workspace clean and organized in accordance with Company proceduresAssist in loading and unloading trucks and containersComplete shipping and receiving documents accuratelyOperate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safelyFollow all workplace safety and hygiene protocolsAiding/assisting other departments if necessaryOther duties assigned by managerAdditional InformationWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:Walk, stand for extended periods of timeWear appropriate safety equipment, as instructedMajority of work time will be spent in production and warehouse where:Temperatures can vary between cool and hot depending on the process and weatherNoise level can be moderatePosition is exposed to small particles, allergens and odorsPosition is required to wear common protective and/or safety gear, i.e. lab coats, gloves, face mask, hairnet, etc.RequirementsPhysical ability to lift up to 50lbs (25kg)Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periodsBenefits:Extended health careDental careVision careSick payOn-site parkingPaid time offPay20$ per hour
