Team members collaborate with diverse clients and projects, contributing to durable, high-performance solutions for construction and industrial applications.Role DescriptionMatex is seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and material flow across the business.Working closely with Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Sales, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate movement of raw materials and finished goods while maintaining efficient warehouse operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving warehouse processes, implementing inventory control systems, and supporting the development of a barcode-based inventory management system.Key ResponsibilitiesManage warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.Coordinate the timely receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials to support production requirements.Work closely with Production to ensure material availability and efficient transfer of finished products into inventory.Coordinate with Logistics to ensure accurate order picking, dispatch, and delivery of finished goods.Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations, and inventory audits.Develop and implement warehouse procedures, inventory controls, and best practices to improve operational efficiency.Lead the implementation and ongoing management of a barcode-based inventory tracking system.Supervise warehouse personnel and promote a safe, organized, and efficient working environment.Prepare inventory reports, monitor key warehouse performance metrics, and recommend process improvements.Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Sales, and Finance to ensure accurate inventory planning and stock availability.RequirementsBachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material planning.Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management software.Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.Preferred SkillsExperience implementing warehouse improvements, barcode systems, or warehouse management systems (WMS).Background in manufacturing, construction materials, or industrial products.Knowledge of inventory forecasting, stock optimization, and warehouse KPIs.Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.What We OfferOpportunity to join a growing and innovative manufacturing company.A leadership role with the opportunity to improve warehouse systems and processes.Professional growth and career development opportunities.A collaborative environment working closely with Production, Logistics, Procurement, and Sales.
