About Us:A well-established distribution company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Manager.

Job Description

Strategically manage the warehouse in alignment with company policies and vision.Oversee the operations of receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.Design and implement efficient warehouse layouts to optimize space utilization.Develop, coordinate, and enforce effective operational policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with all relevant warehousing, handling, and shipping regulations.Uphold standards for health, safety, hygiene, and security within the warehouse.Manage stock control and ensure accurate reconciliation with the data storage system.Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget.Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure smooth operations.Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and evaluate employee performance.Recruit, select, onboard, coach, and motivate employees.Regularly produce reports and statistics, such as IN/OUT status reports and dead stock reports.Gather feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.Qualification and Experience required:Education: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and software(ex. ERP, SAP or 1C).Proficiency with Excel.Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control procedures.Experience with perishable goods.Knowledge of health, safety, and security regulations within a warehouse environment.Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Experience handling team of 25 to 50 warehouse workers.Proven ability to develop, monitor, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and safety.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
