Warehouse Operations Assistant

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Assistant to support the smooth, accurate, and efficient operation of daily warehouse activities. The role involves assisting with receiving, storing, picking, packing, moving, and dispatching goods while maintaining accurate inventory records and organized warehouse areas. Responsibilities include checking incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying quantities and product information, preparing orders, updating inventory systems, supporting stock counts, labeling and organizing products, and coordinating with warehouse, logistics, and administrative teams. You will also assist with identifying inventory discrepancies, damaged or missing items, maintaining workplace cleanliness and organization, and following established safety and operational procedures. The role requires physical awareness, attention to detail, good teamwork, reliability, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.QualificationsCertificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.Basic understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, order fulfillment, and stock handling processes.Strong attention to detail when checking products, quantities, labels, and inventory records.Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Ability to accurately record, update, and retrieve inventory and shipment information.Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory software, barcode scanners, or other warehouse technology is an advantage.Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with colleagues and other departments.Strong awareness of workplace health, safety, and operational procedures.Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and report stock discrepancies or operational issues.Physically capable of performing routine warehouse duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and moving goods where required.Reliable, punctual, responsible, and willing to follow established processes and instructions.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.
