Position Summary:The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe execution of all shipping, receiving, and inventory activities. This role leads and develops warehouse staff, establishes and drives performance goals, and ensures operational excellence in order fulfillment. The Warehouse Supervisor promotes a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while supporting the overall success of the organization.Hours: Monday through Friday 11:00 am - 8:00 pmEssential Duties & Responsibilities:The following duties are representative of the role; additional responsibilities may be assigned as business needs evolve:Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillmentAssign, prioritize, and monitor work to ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established timelinesLead, coach, and develop warehouse team members to drive performance, engagement, and accountabilityEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure productivity, quality, and service level goals are achievedMaintain accurate inventory levels through proper tracking, cycle counts, and replenishment processesOversee ordering and management of shipping and operational supplies to ensure uninterrupted workflowEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and OSHA safety regulations; actively promote a safe working environmentConduct regular safety meetings and proactively address potential hazards or concernsPerform employee evaluations, provide ongoing feedback, and support professional development initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, resolve issues, and enhance overall operational efficiencyLead by example by adhering to safety requirements, including consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Step into hands-on operational tasks as needed to support the team and meet business demandsEducation:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferredExperience / Skills / Abilities Required:Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environmentStrong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment processesProven leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate employees while fostering a team-oriented environmentDemonstrated ability to hold team members accountable in a fair, consistent, and professional mannerStrong focus on safety awareness and compliance, including knowledge of OSHA standards and best practicesAbility to drive operational excellence through process improvements, performance management, and efficiency initiativesHigh level of integrity, ownership, and accountability in all aspects of workAbility to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment and effectively manage multiple prioritiesStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressureHands-on leadership approach with willingness to assist in daily operations as neededExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organizationProficiency in basic math and ability to read and interpret measurements (including tape measure)Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and quality standardsWorking knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or ERP systems preferredWork Environment/Physical Demands Office, fabrication and manufacturing shops – moderate to loud noise level. This position regularly requires standing; walking; sitting; use hands; reaching with hands and arms; and talking and/or hearing. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. The position regularly performs duties away from the place of business.
