Water Feature Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Water Feature Specialist to oversee the technical design review, installation, testing, commissioning, and inspection of water feature systems for major infrastructure and urban development projects in Dubai.Key ResponsibilitiesReview water feature shop drawings, design submissions, method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation.Supervise the installation of water features, including fountains, cascades, decorative pools, interactive water features, and associated systems.Inspect pumps, filtration systems, nozzles, valves, pipework, tanks, controls, lighting, and water treatment systems.Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and applicable UAE standards.Coordinate with civil, MEP, landscape, architectural, and specialist contractors.Monitor testing, balancing, commissioning, and performance of water feature systems.Verify hydraulic performance, water circulation, filtration, drainage, and control systems.Identify technical issues, defects, and non-conformities and ensure timely corrective actions.Review materials and equipment for compliance with approved specifications and project requirements.Witness testing and commissioning activities and maintain appropriate inspection records.Monitor site progress and provide technical input to resolve construction-related issues.Coordinate interfaces between water features, hardscape, landscape, electrical, plumbing, and control systems.Prepare inspection reports, snagging lists, and technical observations.Ensure compliance with project HSE and quality requirements.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Landscape Engineering, or a related discipline.8+ years of relevant experience in water feature systems, fountains, decorative water bodies, or similar specialist installations.Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, landscape, public realm, urban development, or major building projects.Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, filtration, water treatment, piping, valves, nozzles, and water feature controls.Experience in inspection, installation supervision, testing, and commissioning of specialist water feature systems.UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.Experience working with consultants, contractors, specialist subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.Good understanding of QA/QC procedures, technical documentation, and site inspection processes.Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Candidates with Dubai infrastructure or major public realm project experience will be preferred.
