The role involves designing, analyzing, and maintaining hydraulic systems and water-related infrastructure, including pumps, pipelines, and control systems. The engineer will conduct hydrological and water resource assessments, perform technical calculations, prepare engineering drawings and specifications, and support project planning and execution. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical documentation and reports. The role also requires participation in site inspections, coordination with contractors and stakeholders, and continuous improvement of engineering processes and solutions.Qualifications Strong knowledge of Hydraulic Systems, including design, operation, and maintenance.Expertise in Water Engineering and Water Resource Management for infrastructure and projects.Background in Hydrology, including analysis of rainfall, runoff, and watershed behavior.Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles applied to fluid mechanics and machinery.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, hydraulic modeling tools) and MS Office.Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and regulatory requirements.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with attention to detail.Effective communication and teamwork abilities for coordination with multidisciplinary teams.Prior experience in water infrastructure, irrigation, municipal water systems, or industrial hydraulics is an advantage.
