Water Manager

The role will oversee the development and review of national and regional master plans, five-year project portfolio planning, capital investment programmes, business cases, project prioritisation, and alignment with strategic KPIs. The position will also coordinate with government entities, regional stakeholders, developers, and internal departments to ensure infrastructure requirements are incorporated into future development plans.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and review national and regional water and wastewater master plans.Manage five-year project portfolio planning and project prioritisation.Review Capital Investment Plans and project business cases.Ensure proposed projects align with approved master plans and strategic KPIs.Coordinate with government authorities, municipalities, developers, and regional stakeholders.Monitor implementation of regional master plans and capital programmes.Support GIS data integration, knowledge transfer, and strategic planning capability development.Review infrastructure requirements for major and mega developments.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Urban Planning.Minimum 20 years’ experience in strategic planning, infrastructure planning, master planning, or major development programmes.Strong expertise in water and wastewater master planning.Extensive experience in urban and infrastructure planning, preferably at national or large-scale regional level.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
