The technician is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting water storage tanks, including draining, scrubbing, rinsing, and sanitizing tanks in accordance with company procedures and local regulations. Daily tasks include inspecting tanks and related piping for contamination, damage, or leaks, and reporting any issues to supervisors. The role involves operating cleaning equipment and tools safely, handling cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines, and maintaining accurate records of cleaning schedules and completed work. The technician collaborates with team members, follows standard operating procedures, adheres to health and safety standards, and supports other facilities management activities as needed.Qualifications Candidates should possess practical skills in water tank cleaning, basic plumbing or piping checks, and safe use of cleaning tools and equipment.Candidates should possess knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards, safe handling of cleaning chemicals, and basic understanding of health and safety regulations.Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills for identifying tank issues, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately.Candidates should possess effective communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and a customer-focused mindset when interacting with clients or site representatives.Candidates should possess physical stamina to work in confined spaces and at heights where required, along with reliability and strong time management skills.Previous experience in facilities management, water tank cleaning, or a similar technical/maintenance role is beneficial.A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; relevant technical or safety certifications (e.g., confined space entry, basic HSE training) are an advantage.
