The specialist will monitor water quality parameters, analyze test results, and adjust treatment methods to meet regulatory and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include reviewing system performance data, troubleshooting process issues, and collaborating with operations and engineering teams to implement improvements. The role also involves preparing technical reports, documentation, and recommendations, as well as delivering training and guidance to colleagues and clients on best practices in water treatment. The specialist will participate in continuous improvement initiatives, support compliance audits, and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures.Qualifications Strong knowledge of Water Treatment and Water Quality principles, with experience applying them in operational or consulting environments.Experience in Wastewater Treatment processes, including monitoring, optimization, and regulatory compliance.Solid understanding of Chemistry as it relates to water treatment, including dosing, reactions, and analytical testing.Ability to design and deliver Training on water and wastewater treatment best practices to internal teams and external stakeholders.Relevant technical education (e.g., degree or certification in environmental science, chemical engineering, water resources, or related field).Familiarity with regulatory standards and guidelines for drinking water and wastewater, and experience working within compliance frameworks.Proficiency in using laboratory instruments, monitoring tools, and data analysis software for water quality assessment.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
