The Wax Dental Technician will be responsible for creating precise wax patterns for dental prostheses, including crowns, bridges, and other restorative and prosthodontic work. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting dental prescriptions, collaborating with dental professionals, and using dental laboratory equipment and materials to produce high-quality wax-ups. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized laboratory workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards, and ensuring timely completion of cases to support patient care.Qualifications Strong foundation in Dentistry and Dental Care to understand clinical requirements and prosthodontic cases.Proficiency in Prosthodontics and Dental Technology for designing and fabricating accurate wax patterns for dental restorations.Solid Laboratory Skills, including handling dental materials, operating lab equipment, and following safety protocols.Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work with fine, intricate wax structures.Relevant technical diploma or certification in dental technology or a related field; prior experience as a wax dental technician is an advantage.Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with dentists and other dental team members.Basic knowledge of infection control and quality assurance standards in dental laboratories.
