Tutors will conduct one-on-one online sessions focused on subject mastery, homework help, and exam preparation across IB, IGCSE, and AP curricula. Day-to-day tasks include planning and delivering interactive lessons, reviewing student work, providing feedback on assessments and essays, and helping learners develop effective study and exam strategies. Tutors will communicate regularly with students and families, adjust lesson plans based on progress, and maintain accurate records of sessions and student performance. The role also involves staying current with syllabus changes, assessment criteria, and best practices in online teaching.Qualifications Strong subject-matter expertise in one or more IB, IGCSE, or AP subjects, with a solid understanding of relevant curricula and assessment criteria.Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with IB, IGCSE, or AP students, and a track record of improving learner outcomes.Excellent communication, explanation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage and motivate students in an online environment.Ability to plan structured lessons, provide clear feedback on essays and assignments, and support students with IAs, EEs, TOK, and exam preparation.Comfort with digital tools and online teaching platforms, and reliable access to a computer, webcam, and stable internet connection.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle flexible scheduling across different time zones.Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject area; prior experience as an IB examiner, teacher, or high-achieving graduate is highly valued.Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching and a professional, ethical approach to academic support.
