A growing wealth management and financial planning team in Elgin, IL is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Wealth Management Associate to provide essential support to Financial Advisors and contribute to the firm’s comprehensive planning process. This position offers a salary range of $75,000-$80,000 and provides an opportunity to work closely with advisors in developing personalized financial strategies and delivering a high-touch client experience. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this individual will assist with financial plan development, client analysis, research, meeting preparation, and the coordination of planning-related activities. This is a hybrid position offering the flexibility of a combination of in-office and remote work. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working with detailed financial information while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Prior experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related financial services role is preferred, along with experience using financial planning software. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to medical and dental insurance as well as generous PTO.Responsibilities of the Wealth Management Associate:Support advisors in building and maintaining client financial plans based on individual goals, circumstances, and financial information.Review and interpret client data to assist with identifying planning needs, potential risks, and areas for further analysis.Assist with research and preparation related to investment, retirement, insurance, estate, tax, and cash flow planning.Organize and develop materials for client meetings, including reports, presentations, account information, and other supporting documents.Assist with prospective client opportunities by preparing proposals, conducting research, and compiling relevant financial planning information.Work alongside advisors to refine planning strategies, coordinate follow-up activities, and keep client plans updated as circumstances change.Communicate with clients regarding planning-related needs, monitor open items, and provide ongoing administrative and planning support.Qualifications of the Wealth Management Associate:Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to producing accurate financial information and client materials.Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to evaluate information and recognize potential planning opportunities.Excellent organizational and project management abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach to working with advisors and clients.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.2+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related financial services role is preferred, along with experience using financial planning software.Series 6 and Series 63 licenses are a plus; CFP® coursework, certification, or progress toward certification is highly desirable.P-19
