Team members collaborate with innovators, investors, and partners to help shape the next generation of decentralized technologies and digital assets.Role Description The Web3 Capital & Portfolio Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s Web3 investment portfolio. On a day-to-day basis, this role evaluates blockchain and Web3 projects, performs financial and qualitative analysis, and monitors portfolio performance and risk. The specialist collaborates with internal teams and external partners to assess new investment opportunities, prepare investment memos, and support capital allocation decisions. The role includes maintaining portfolio documentation, tracking key performance indicators, and contributing to program and project governance frameworks. This position also involves clear communication of portfolio insights to leadership, supporting strategic planning, and staying current on market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in the blockchain space.QualificationsStrong analytical skills, including data interpretation, risk assessment, and performance analysis for Web3 and blockchain investments.Experience in project portfolio management, including prioritization, tracking, and reporting across multiple initiatives.Proficient communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial and technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.Program management capabilities, such as coordinating timelines, resources, and governance processes within a capital and portfolio context.Foundational finance skills, including understanding of investment structures, valuation concepts, and portfolio optimization.Knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, and Web3 business models; prior experience in the blockchain or fintech sector is an asset.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.Ability to work independently in a remote environment, demonstrate sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-evolving market.Compensation: This position offers a salary range of ¥18,000,000–¥25,000,000 JPY per year depending on experience, investment expertise, digital asset knowledge, and portfolio strategy responsibilities.
