Stathis Strategies is preparing for an upcoming launch and offers opportunities for professionals interested in shaping the future of digital finance.Role DescriptionThe Web3 Hedge Fund Analyst will support investment research, portfolio strategy, and risk analysis across cryptocurrency markets and blockchain-based assets. The role combines traditional hedge fund research methods with an understanding of Web3, DeFi, and digital-asset market structure to evaluate investment opportunities and assess risk-adjusted returns. The analyst will research market trends, assess hedging strategies, monitor portfolio exposures, and develop insights to support investment decisions across volatile and rapidly evolving crypto markets.Responsibilities

• Research crypto markets, blockchain projects, DeFi protocols, and digital assets
• Analyze Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, and emerging Web3 investment opportunities
• Evaluate hedge fund strategies, portfolio allocations, and hedging approaches
• Monitor volatility, liquidity, leverage, correlations, and portfolio drawdowns
• Conduct fundamental, quantitative, and on-chain market research
• Assess tokenomics, project fundamentals, valuations, and investment risks
• Track market cycles, capital flows, derivatives activity, and institutional sentiment
• Prepare investment memos, performance reports, and research dashboards
• Identify emerging opportunities and risks across digital-asset markets
• Collaborate with investment, portfolio, and research teamsQualifications
• 2+ years in investment research, hedge funds, asset management, trading, or financial markets
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and digital-asset markets
• Knowledge of portfolio construction, hedging, and risk management
• Familiarity with DeFi, tokenomics, blockchain protocols, and crypto derivatives
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial research skills
• Experience with Excel or financial modeling; Python or SQL is a plus
• Familiarity with on-chain analytics and crypto research tools is an advantage
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
