The Big Night Events aims to be among the top event management companies in Dubai, offering distinctive, story-driven celebrations.Role DescriptionThe Wedding Planner will manage end-to-end planning and execution of wedding events, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for clients and guests. This full-time, on-site role in Dubai involves meeting with clients to understand their vision, developing event concepts and mood boards, and creating detailed timelines, event flows and checklists. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating venues, vendors, and suppliers; managing budgets and payment schedules; and overseeing décor, logistics, and on-the-day operations. The Wedding Planner will handle guest communication and support, troubleshoot issues that arise before and during events, and maintain high standards of service and professionalism. Collaboration with the creative leadership team is expected to deliver weddings that align with The Big Night Events' cinematic and storytelling-driven approach.Qualifications- At least 1-2 years' experience as a wedding planner, or in wedding and events planning. Luxury or high-end weddings preferred.- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to run several weddings and timelines at once.- A creative eye for aesthetics, and confidence using Canva to build mood boards and client presentations.- Experience creating event flows and show flows, and running them on the day.- Responsible, takes accountability seriously and follows through.- Strong communication skills in English, spoken and written. Proficiency in other languages common in Dubai is an advantage.- Budgeting skills, including cost estimation, vendor negotiation, and tracking expenses against agreed budgets.- Excellent customer service skills, with a client-focused mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships.- Knowledge of local Dubai venues and vendors.- Ability to work on-site, including evenings and weekends, and to stay calm under pressure during live events.- A relevant diploma or degree is preferred but not mandatory.- Your own car and a valid driving license.How to applyApply here on LinkedIn.
