The organization offers opportunities to work on diverse projects within the offshore and marine sectors.Role Description The Welding Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi. This role oversees daily welding activities, including planning work schedules, assigning tasks to welders, and monitoring progress to meet project timelines and specifications. The Welding Supervisor conducts welding inspections, ensures adherence to quality control standards, and verifies compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing technical drawings, coordinating with engineering and production teams, training and mentoring welders, and maintaining accurate records of welding procedures and test results. The role also involves identifying process improvements and supporting continuous enhancement of welding practices and productivity.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.Candidates should possess Welding and TIG Welding skills, with hands-on experience in marine, structural, or industrial applications.Candidates should possess Welding Inspection and Quality Control skills, ensuring work meets relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.Candidates should have solid knowledge of welding safety practices, applicable industry standards, and use of welding tools and equipment.Candidates should have experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or steel/marine construction environments (offshore experience is an advantage).Candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Candidates should ideally hold a technical diploma or certification in welding or a related field; additional welding inspector or quality certifications are beneficial.Candidates should be able to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and adapt to a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
