Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Scope The Well Testing, Stimulation and UBCTD Supervisor is the Company Representative on the wellsite and is responsible for the safe and cost-efficient pre-mobilisation/system integration testing, mobilisation, execution of the UBCTD, Well Testing and/or Stimulation operations and related activities, in accordance with the programme.Main Responsibilities Company focal point for pre-mobilisation/system integration testing/auditing of the contractors equipment and procedures.Accountable for all personnel at the wellsite.Safety leader at the wellsite.Manages all operations in a manner that ensures UBCTD, Well Testing and/or Stimulation operations are carried out in safe and cost-effective manner, ensuring the health and safety of all personnel, the protection of the environment and SNOC’s business objectives are met.Responsible for the implementation of the Company and Contractor’s wellsite HSE and the conformity to all SNOC safety policies and programmes.Investigates, follows up and closes out all incidents relating to rig site personnel, equipment, and procedures.Assists in HSE field audits, investigations, or initiatives.Works in collaboration with all contributors to and participants in the operations to ensure all required equipment and tools are available at the wellsite or is available for call out.Maintains honest and timely communication with the SNOC Drilling Superintendent/Drilling & Completions Manager/UBCTD Engineer.Champion performance and continuous improvement efforts to ensure delivery of well programme objectives.Ensuring that timely and accurate activity reports are submitted daily.Ensures that all NPT is captured in the daily operations report and SNOC NPT reports.Prepares a 7 and 14 day ‘Lookahead’ for logistics and personnel planning based on the current operations and upcoming operation.Ensures that SNOC Well Control and Pressure Control Standards are met in all respects including equipment configuration, testing and crew response.Ensures that all contributors to and participants in the operations with SNOC adhere to the established safety standards and procedures.Reviews and recommends optimization of UBCTD, Well Testing and/or Stimulation programmes/procedures.Reviews and approves Integrated Service contractor’s detailed and precise Work Instructions based on the well programme or ongoing activities.Ensures that all contractor and service company documentation for each of the services being employed are checked and verified as correct and conform to industry standards.In collaboration with UBCTD, Well testing or Stimulation contractors, manage the well site operations to deliver best in class programme objectives.Assists in preparation and/or review of UBCTD, Well Testing and/or Stimulation operational and contingency procedures, emergency response plans, and related documentation/manuals.Enforces appropriate operational, contingency and emergency procedures, protocols are followed at the wellsite.Serves as a mentor to less experienced contributors and participants in the operations.Participation in emergency preparedness activities.Ensures that all safety drills and/or exercises are carried out as per the operational/HSE plan and that all details are recorded by the contractor HSE personnel and that lessons learned are captured and implemented.Ensures that all Pre-Tour Safety Meetings are properly conducted and documented.Makes recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered.Coordinates deliveries of materials to the well to ensure it is available when required.Ensures the contractors meet all requirements of their contract.Works with all contributors to and participants in the operations to ensure that modern, industry-standard practices are followed.Checks and approves records of all movements to and from and wellsite attendance by all contributors to and participants in the operations.Checks and approves reports by all contributors to and participants in the operations.Checks and approves unpriced service tickets/invoices by all contributors to and participants in the operations, ensuring that they are accurate. Ensures that the contractor’s equipment is properly maintained to avoid downtime.Qualifications / Experience /Special Conditions or RequirementsWell experienced in wellsite HSE matters, including assisting in training personnel at the wellsite to encourage a natural safety culture, leading by example and interfacing with all contributors to and participants in the operations.BSc. Engineering Degree preferred, but not essential based on experience.Current IWCF Certified, Level 4 as a minimum.Experienced professional with a proven wellsite management track record including at least 15 years of experience in Drilling, Workover, Well Services, Intervention operations, of which 5 years shall have been in a Wellsite Supervisory role for UBCTD operations.Knowledgeable on wide range of UBCTD procedures, methods, operations and challenges (slickline, wireline, coiled tubing, UBD, well flowback and clean-up, well effluent waste management, etc.).Excellent understanding of well services and intervention operations, along with their associated control principles.Excellent verbal and written skills in English.Hands-on experience and pro-active attitude. Good planning and organization skills.Active and visible commitment to HSE.Experience working with/for Major Operator Oil Companies and/or Contractors.Experience working in H2S environment.Experience with tight oil and gas reservoirs.Depleted reservoir operations - UBD/HPHT experience.
