A wide range of subjects is taught, including keyboards, guitars, western vocals, piano, Indian vocals, violins, and music theory.Role Description The Western Dance Teacher will deliver engaging, structured dance lessons to learners of various age groups and skill levels, following the academy’s curriculum and teaching standards. This full-time, on-site role in Pune City involves planning lesson content, demonstrating techniques, choreographing routines for performances, and providing constructive feedback to support student progress. The teacher will manage class discipline, maintain a safe learning environment, and adapt teaching methods to individual student needs. Responsibilities also include collaborating with other instructors, participating in recitals and events, and maintaining accurate records of student attendance and performance.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Dance Instruction and Dance Education, with the ability to structure lessons and guide learners effectively.Candidates should possess skills in Teaching and Dance, including class management, student engagement, and performance preparation.Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Music to support rhythm, coordination, and musical interpretation in choreography.Formal training or certification in Western dance styles (e.g., jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, ballet) from a recognized institute is preferred.Prior experience teaching dance to children and adults in group and individual settings is highly beneficial.Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to motivate and inspire students are essential.Ability to work flexible hours for classes, rehearsals, and events, and to collaborate within a multidisciplinary arts and music environment.
