Quotla is committed to building practical tools that fit the realities of everyday business owners.Role DescriptionQuotla is a live SaaS app (Next.js, Convex backend) for small businesses to create quotes and invoices, track inventory, and manage customers. We're hiring someone to build a two-way WhatsApp bot on Meta's Cloud API so business owners and their customers can create, share, and check quotes/invoices from a chat thread.Please DO NOT apply if you do not meet the criteriaQualificationsFamiliarity with small business contexts (such as retail, service providers, or informal trade) and the ability to translate their needs into practical digital workflows is an advantage.Shipped at least one production WhatsApp Business Platform integration (Cloud API or a BSP like Twilio/360dialog), not just a chatbot on another channelSolid TypeScript, comfortable in a serverless backend, and has been through Meta business verification and template approval beforeUnderstands the 24-hour customer service window vs. template messages and why it mattersWrites code someone else can maintain after you're doneCandidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret usage data, identify issues, and optimize WhatsApp Business integration performance.Candidates should possess Business and Business Planning skills to understand small business operations and design communication flows that support sales, inventory, and customer engagement.Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate with internal teams, support users, and explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language.Experience working with messaging platforms, CRM or business management tools, and integrations or APIs is beneficial.
