This role focuses on maintaining high levels of turbine availability, reliability, safety, and operational efficiency while coordinating maintenance teams, contractors, suppliers, and technical stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate wind turbine maintenance and wind farm operational activities.Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies for turbines and supporting infrastructure.Monitor turbine availability, performance, downtime, alarms, faults, and operational KPIs.Coordinate technicians, OEMs, contractors, service providers, and specialist engineering teams.Review maintenance schedules, work orders, inspections, service reports, and outstanding technical issues.Analyze turbine failures, recurring faults, performance deviations, and root causes to identify corrective actions.Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, control, and turbine system issues.Monitor maintenance quality, safety standards, procedures, and compliance requirements.Coordinate planned outages, emergency repairs, major component replacements, and corrective maintenance activities.Manage spare parts, tools, equipment, materials, maintenance resources, and service requirements.Monitor contractor performance, maintenance costs, service agreements, warranties, and technical deliverables.Review SCADA data, operational reports, maintenance trends, and asset performance indicators.Support budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and long-term maintenance planning.Prepare operational dashboards, maintenance reports, risk assessments, and management recommendations.Identify opportunities to improve turbine reliability, energy production, maintenance efficiency, and asset lifecycle performance.Requirements3+ years of professional experience in wind energy, renewable energy, turbine maintenance, power generation, or related engineering operations.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field is preferred.Strong understanding of wind turbines, turbine components, maintenance processes, electrical/mechanical systems, and wind farm operations.Experience with preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and asset performance management.Familiarity with SCADA systems, turbine monitoring, maintenance management systems, or operational data analysis.Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, contractor coordination, safety practices, and technical documentation.Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and technical service providers effectively.Comfortable working independently and coordinating field-based activities in a remote environment.Professional certifications are not required unless specifically requested.Strong English communication skills.What We OfferFully remote, part-time work supporting international renewable energy operations.Opportunity to contribute to wind farm reliability, clean energy generation, and sustainable infrastructure.Exposure to advanced turbine technology, asset management, maintenance analytics, and renewable energy operations.Collaboration with engineering, operations, OEM, and technical service teams.Access to modern SCADA, maintenance, reporting, and asset performance tools.Competitive compensation aligned with experience and responsibilities.Opportunities for professional growth, technical leadership, and long-term career development.
