The Windows/IT Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows servers, desktops, and related infrastructure, including installation, configuration, patching, and performance monitoring. The role involves providing technical support for end users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, and ensuring system security, backups, and disaster recovery procedures are in place. The administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments, manage user accounts and permissions, and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations. The role also includes monitoring network and system health, implementing best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement of IT operations.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong System Administration skills, including Windows server and desktop management, configuration, patching, and performance tuning.Candidates should possess Network Administration skills, such as managing LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring tools.Candidates should possess solid Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.Candidates should possess a broad understanding of Information Technology fundamentals, including security best practices, backup and recovery, and IT asset management.Relevant experience with Active Directory, Office 365 or similar productivity suites, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is beneficial.Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Industry certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, or network-related certifications are an advantage.Experience in implementing DLP
