Windows System Administrator

As a Windows System Administrator at Müller's Solutions, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Windows server environment. This role requires a deep understanding of Windows operating systems and will involve managing and troubleshooting server hardware, software, and networking components. You'll work closely with other IT staff to ensure high availability and performance of our systems, as well as support our users' needs by providing excellent technical support.Key Responsibilities:Manage, maintain, and monitor Windows servers to ensure optimal performance and availabilityInstall and configure Windows OS and application software, applying updates and patches regularlyTroubleshoot and resolve server-related issues, including hardware and software malfunctionsEnsure data integrity by implementing and managing backup solutions and disaster recovery plansManage user accounts, permissions, and security settings within Active DirectoryImplement and maintain security measures to protect server data and systems, including firewalls and anti-virus toolsDocument system configurations, procedures, and changes in IT documentationAssist in planning and executing system migrations, upgrades, and new deploymentsRequirementsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field3-6 years of experience in Windows system administration or a related roleStrong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022)Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and other directory servicesFamiliarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) as well as cloud services (AWS, Azure) is advantageousExcellent troubleshooting skills for resolving hardware and software issues in a timely mannerAbility to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentationRelevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are a plusPreferred Qualifications:Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation of tasksKnowledge of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)Understanding of database management systems (SQL Server) and application server environmentsStrong communication skills to effectively assist and guide end-usersProactive approach to system monitoring and improvement strategiesBenefitsWhy Join Us:Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team.Competitive salary and benefits package.Exciting projects and innovative work environment.
