Wired Field Technician

Scope of Work. Field Technician CapabilitiesSupplier’s field technicians shall be fully prepared with the appropriate tools and skillsets. For instance, they shall possess the basic networking skills to directly console to a device and perform configuration tasks to restore service. All tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, ladders, etc.) shall be supplied by the field technician.All field technicians shall be fully qualified in the technologies they always support and have the following tools as necessary:Laptops with console cablesCrossover and Ethernet cablesBasic tool sets (screwdrivers, plyers, etc.)Cell phones and 4G/5G connectivity for console access to remote engineersThumb drive/USB driveCAT 5, CAT 6 Cable tester equipmentField technicians must be able to access Managed Equipment and perform routine programming and configuration tasks.
