Apply & track with Apply EdgeThe WMS Manager is responsible for the implementation, administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Warehouse Management System (WMS). The role ensures seamless integration between warehouse operations and technology platforms to improve inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, visibility, and customer service performance.The position serves as the key liaison between operational teams and IT stakeholders, ensuring that system capabilities fully support business requirements and operational growth.Key ResponsibilitiesWMS Administration & MaintenanceManage and maintain WMS configuration, functionality, and system performance.Ensure data integrity, system availability, and operational reliability.Coordinate system upgrades, testing, and enhancements.Monitor system KPIs and resolve system-related issues.System Implementation & OptimizationLead WMS implementation projects and module deployments.Identify automation opportunities to improve productivity and accuracy.Optimize warehouse workflows through system capabilities.Support digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.Warehouse Operations IntegrationEnsure accurate system management of:Receiving and put-away activitiesPicking, packing, and dispatch operationsInventory movements and stock controlBatch, lot, and serial number trackingExpiry-date management and product traceabilitySupport integration between WMS, ERP, transportation, and other operational systems.User Support & TrainingAct as the primary point of contact for WMS users.Provide daily support to warehouse teams and supervisors.Develop and maintain training materials and SOPs.Deliver user training and ensure adherence to best practices.Reporting & Data AnalyticsEnsure inventory and transaction accuracy.Develop operational dashboards and reports.Analyze warehouse performance and inventory trends.Support internal and external audits.Process Governance & Continuous ImprovementDefine and enforce standardized warehouse processes.Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.Support FIFO/FEFO inventory management practices.Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations and WMS environments.Experience in WMS implementation, configuration, and optimization projects.Experience in logistics, distribution, warehousing, or cold chain operations is preferred.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of:Inbound and outbound warehouse operationsInventory control and stock managementValue Added Services (VAS)Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems.Experience with ERP integrations and system interfaces.Knowledge of RF scanners, barcode technology, and API/EDI integrations.Proficiency in reporting tools and data analytics (Power BI preferred).CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Project management capabilities.Ability to bridge operational and technical teams.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Attention to detail and data accuracy.Leadership, coaching, and training abilities.Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
