Employment Type: Full-time | On-siteExperience: Minimum 5 years of relevant machinery maintenance experience, including at least 3 years within Saudi Arabia.Availability: Immediate joining required.Applicants must currently reside in Saudi Arabia.ABOUT THE ROLEملتقى الحضارات is seeking a hands-on maintenance specialist for woodworking machinery and associated factory equipment.Applications are welcome from Maintenance Engineers and Senior Maintenance Technicians with proven experience diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and performing preventive maintenance in woodworking, joinery, or furniture manufacturing facilities.The role requires direct practical work on machinery, effective troubleshooting, and the ability to restore safe, accurate, and reliable operation while reducing production downtime.MACHINERY & EQUIPMENT SCOPEThe factory equipment includes:Wood moulders, spindle moulders, and profiling machines.Thickness planers and surface planers/jointers.Table saws, sliding table saws, panel saws, beam saws, and other woodworking cutting equipment.Woodworking presses and their operating systems.CNC woodworking machines and related control and drive systems.Paint drying ovens and associated finishing equipment.Air compressors, compressed-air treatment equipment, and distribution networks.Dust and wood-chip extraction systems.Associated motors, transmissions, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and auxiliary factory equipment.Applicants should clearly identify the machinery brands, models, and systems they have personally maintained.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDiagnose and repair machinery faults through systematic inspection, testing, and analysis.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with manufacturer instructions, operating conditions, and maintenance schedules.Inspect and maintain bearings, shafts, belts, chains, gears, couplings, feed systems, lubrication systems, and other mechanical components.Check machinery alignment, operating settings, and calibration, and verify cutting, machining, or pressing accuracy after maintenance.Diagnose electrical and control faults involving motors, sensors, switches, contactors, protection devices, variable-frequency drives, and related components within professional competence and authorisation.Read mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics, and equipment manuals.Troubleshoot CNC alarms, positioning or referencing issues, sensors, servo and spindle drives, and related systems within demonstrated experience.Coordinate with equipment manufacturers or authorised service providers when specialist diagnostics, software access, or major repairs are required.Inspect and repair pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, including leaks, valves, cylinders, hoses, pressure regulation, and related components.Maintain compressors, compressed-air systems, dust extraction equipment, and relevant production support equipment.Inspect paint drying ovens and related heating, ventilation, temperature-control, and safety-interlock systems within demonstrated competence.Investigate recurring failures and recommend corrective measures to improve reliability and prevent repeat breakdowns.Identify spare parts accurately using specifications, part numbers, and manufacturer documentation; maintain appropriate records and recommend critical spare stock.Record faults, maintenance activities, replaced parts, downtime, and follow-up actions.Coordinate maintenance priorities and planned shutdowns with production to minimise disruption.Support machinery installation, relocation, commissioning, and acceptance checks where required.Guide operators on routine checks, correct operating practices, and early reporting of abnormal noise, vibration, overheating, or performance changes.Isolate and secure electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other stored energy before maintenance, following safe isolation and lockout/tagout procedures.Verify guards, emergency stops, and safety interlocks before returning equipment to service, and conduct controlled post-maintenance testing.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a relevant engineering discipline;
