The WordPress Developer will build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins aligned with project requirements and brand guidelines. Daily responsibilities include implementing front-end designs, optimizing site performance, ensuring responsive layouts across devices, and maintaining clean, secure, and scalable code. The role involves collaborating with designers, product owners, and other developers to translate business needs into functional features, troubleshooting technical issues, and keeping WordPress installations, integrations, and dependencies up to date. The developer will also contribute to testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of web development practices and standards within the team.Qualifications Strong Front-End Development skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on implementing pixel-perfect designs within WordPress.Experience in Back-End Web Development for WordPress, including PHP, WordPress hooks and filters, custom post types, and plugin/theme customization.Proficiency in Responsive Web Design and Web Design principles to ensure accessible, user-friendly interfaces across devices and browsers.Solid Web Development foundations, including version control (e.g., Git), debugging, performance optimization, and security best practices.Hands-on experience with WordPress page builders, theme frameworks, and common plugins (e.g., SEO, caching, forms, security).Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple tasks, and deliver quality work within deadlines.Familiarity with REST APIs, third-party integrations, and basic knowledge of SEO and web analytics is beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
