E Technologies, a dynamic technology and media company, is hiring a talented Senior WordPress Developer to join our innovative team.Role SummaryThe WordPress Developer is responsible for building, customising, maintaining, and improving WordPress websites across company products. The role includes developing custom themes and plugins, implementing responsive designs, optimising website performance, integrating third-party services, and ensuring websites are secure, stable, and easy to manage.Main ResponsibilitiesDevelop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites.Build custom WordPress themes based on UI/UX and Figma designs.Develop and customise WordPress plugins when required.Implement responsive, user-friendly, and SEO-friendly web pages.Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, forms, CRM tools, analytics, and marketing platforms.Optimise website speed, performance, Core Web Vitals, and overall user experience.Maintain website security, backups, updates, and best practices.Troubleshoot bugs, plugin conflicts, theme issues, and hosting-related problems.Work with backend, frontend, UI/UX, and marketing teams to deliver website requirements.Manage WordPress content structures including custom post types, taxonomies, menus, templates, and page builders.Ensure websites are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.Follow clean code, accessibility, security, and web performance standards.Required Skills and ExperienceStrong professional experience in WordPress development.Advanced knowledge of PHP, WordPress theme development, and plugin development.Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive design.Experience with custom post types, custom fields, taxonomies, hooks, filters, shortcodes, and WordPress REST API.Experience building websites from Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.Experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, ACF, WooCommerce, and popular WordPress plugins.Good understanding of website performance optimisation, caching, image optimisation, and Core Web Vitals.Good knowledge of WordPress security, updates, backups, and hosting environments.Experience with Git and team-based development workflow.Ability to debug issues, solve plugin conflicts, and work with existing WordPress projects.Professional English communication level.Nice to HaveExperience with WooCommerce customisation and payment integrations.Experience with multilingual websites using WPML, Polylang, or similar tools.Experience with SEO tools, schema markup, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Search Console.Experience with headless WordPress or WordPress REST API integrations.Experience with Laravel, Vue.js, React, or modern frontend frameworks.Experience working with high-traffic media, publishing, charity, e-commerce, or membership websites.Experience with cPanel, WHM, Cloudflare, CDN, and server-level performance optimisation.
