SummaryWe are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to design, build, and maintain modern, scalable, and high-performing websites. This role requires translating approved Figma designs into responsive, templated WordPress experiences while collaborating with designers, and technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong web development expertise with experience on AI-assisted development practices and modern CMS platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, templates, and plugins.Translate Figma designs into responsive, pixel-accurate, accessible web experiences.Build reusable templates, components, and content structures that empower non-technical users.Optimize websites for performance, SEO, security, and scalability.Collaborate with designers, project managers, content authors, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.Implement best practices for front-end and back-end development, testing, and deployment.Integrate third-party APIs, technologies, analytics, and business applications as required.Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting.Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and technical documentation.Required Qualifications3+ years of professional experience developing WordPress websites and solutions.Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern web development practices.Experience building custom WordPress themes and working with page builders and/or block-based development.Demonstrated ability to convert UX/UI designs into production-ready websites.Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards.Familiarity with Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows.Hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools or AI IDEs (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude-assisted development, or similar platforms).Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with CMS platforms such as Drupal, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, or similar.Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks, build tools, and API-driven architectures.Understanding of cloud hosting, CI/CD pipelines, and website deployment processes.
