Every project is guided by the goal of capturing moments that inspire, engage, and build genuine connections between brands and their audiences.Role Description The WordPress Developer will work in a remote, contract role, collaborating with the creative and marketing teams to build, maintain, and optimize WordPress-based websites. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing custom themes and templates, configuring plugins, ensuring performance and security, and implementing responsive designs that align with brand guidelines. The role also involves translating visual concepts into interactive web experiences, troubleshooting technical issues, and managing updates and content changes. The developer will contribute to improving site usability and SEO-friendly structures, while supporting ongoing digital campaigns and media projects.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design skills to create user-friendly, mobile-optimized WordPress interfaces.Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills to manage WordPress configuration, custom functionality, performance, and security.Candidates should possess Web Design and general Web Development skills to translate brand concepts into cohesive, accessible site layouts.Experience with WordPress themes, child themes, and plugins (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, WooCommerce) is beneficial.Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, along with version control tools such as Git, is preferred.Ability to collaborate remotely, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly with creative and marketing stakeholders.Prior experience building sites for media, creative agencies, or e-commerce is an advantage.A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in web development or a related field is preferred but not strictly required.
