Team members contribute to a growing library of high-quality educational materials that support a global audience of technical and functional professionals.Role Description The WordPress Developer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing Suitepedia’s WordPress-based website and related digital properties. This full-time remote role involves developing and customizing themes and plugins, implementing responsive layouts, and ensuring clean, well-structured code that supports a fast and accessible user experience. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating on UX and design decisions, integrating content and media, managing site performance, and troubleshooting technical issues. The WordPress Developer will also work closely with content creators to support new features, improve site navigation, and implement best practices for security, scalability, and SEO-friendly development.Qualifications Strong front-end skills in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design, including HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks.Experience in Back-End Web Development for WordPress, including PHP, custom themes, and plugin development.Proficiency in Web Design and Web Development principles, focusing on usability, accessibility, and performance.Hands-on experience configuring and managing WordPress installations, including security hardening, backups, and updates.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with attention to detail and code quality.Relevant experience with SEO best practices, analytics tools, and optimizing sites for user engagement is beneficial.
