Our services include website development, digital strategy, social media, performance marketing, content creation, and event-based activations.We value collaboration, continuous learning, problem-solving, and a forward-thinking approach to digital transformation.Role DescriptionDigiGlow Media is looking for a WordPress Full-Stack Developer for a full-time, on-site position in the Thessaloniki Metropolitan Area.We are looking for a strong and autonomous developer who can take ownership of WordPress and web development projects from development and customization to deployment, hosting, maintenance, and technical troubleshooting.This role goes beyond working with ready-made themes and plugins. The ideal candidate should be comfortable understanding and working with the code, backend, databases, APIs, hosting environments, and the overall technical infrastructure behind a website.You will work closely with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable, and high-performing web solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain WordPress websites and web applications.Build and customize WordPress themes, child themes, and plugins.Develop responsive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Implement custom WordPress functionality using PHP.Work with WooCommerce websites and customizations.Configure and customize Elementor / Elementor Pro and other page builders when required.Develop and manage integrations with third-party platforms and APIs.Manage MySQL databases and troubleshoot database-related issues.Handle website migrations, staging, production environments, and deployments.Configure and troubleshoot hosting environments, domains, DNS, and SSL.Work with cPanel, Plesk, or similar hosting management environments.Perform basic server administration and troubleshoot server-side issues.Maintain backups, security, updates, and overall website health.Improve website speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals.Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the full website stack.Follow structured Git-based development and deployment workflows.Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code.QualificationsStrong experience with WordPress development.Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.Experience with custom WordPress theme and plugin development.Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, including hooks, actions, filters, templates, and the WordPress database structure.Experience with Custom Post Types, custom fields / ACF, and custom WordPress functionality.Strong experience with WooCommerce, including customization and integrations.Experience with Elementor / Elementor Pro and other WordPress page builders.Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.Good knowledge of MySQL and database management.Experience with Git and version control workflows.Understanding of staging, production, website migrations, and deployment processes.Experience with hosting environments, domains, DNS, SSL, cPanel, or Plesk.Understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud services, such as Azure or Google Cloud.Familiarity with CDNs, caching solutions, and Cloudflare.Familiarity with development tools such as Composer, npm, and WP-CLI will be considered an advantage.Understanding of technical SEO fundamentals.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders.We will appreciated if:You have Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Vibe Coding is accepted with the ability to comprehend and troubleshoot the AI generated code.Previous experience in a digital agency or fast-paced multi-client environment will be considered an advantage.What We Are Looking ForWhat matters most to us is your ability to understand how a website works as a complete system and find solutions when something goes wrong.We are not looking for someone who only works with ready-made WordPress templates.
