Workday Integrations DeveloperLocationRemoteJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Workday Integrations Developer to design, build, enhance, and support enterprise integrations between Workday and internal/external systems. This role will be responsible for developing scalable and secure integrations across Finance, HCM, Procurement, Payroll, CRM, and other enterprise applications using Workday integration technologies and middleware platforms.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday integration tools, API development, data transformation, troubleshooting, and integration architecture. The developer will partner closely with Functional, HR, Finance, Enterprise Applications, and Infrastructure teams to deliver reliable and automated business solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesIntegration DevelopmentDesign, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using:EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)Core ConnectorsStudioWorkday Web Services (SOAP/REST)Workday Extend (preferred)Workday Prism Analytics (preferred)Develop inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third-party applications.Build integrations utilizing middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or equivalent integration platforms.Create scalable data transformation and orchestration solutions.Interface Design & ArchitectureAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration designs.Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.Develop API-based integration solutions using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and XSLT.Ensure integrations follow enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.Support & OperationsMonitor integration health and proactively identify issues.Troubleshoot integration failures and resolve production incidents.Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end business processes.Data & SecurityEnsure data integrity, privacy, and compliance requirements are met.Manage Workday security domains and integration system users as required.Implement error handling, logging, auditing, and notification mechanisms.CollaborationPartner with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and external vendors on integration initiatives.Participate in requirement gathering, solution reviews, testing, and deployment activities.Support Workday releases and regression testing efforts.Required QualificationsEducationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.Experience4+ years of experience developing Workday integrations.2+ years of experience with middleware technologies such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or similar platforms.Experience implementing enterprise application integrations in large-scale environments.Technical SkillsWorkday StudioEIBCore ConnectorsWorkday Web Services (SOAP & REST APIs)XML, XSLT, JSONREST APIsSOAP APIsSFTP/File-based integrationsSQL and data analysis skillsVersion control systems (Git preferred)Integration KnowledgeExperience integrating Workday with systems such as:SalesforceActive Directory/Azure ADPayroll providersBenefits providersFinancial systemsData warehouses and reporting platformsPreferred QualificationsWorkday Pro Certification(s)Workday Studio CertificationWorkday Extend experienceWorkday Prism Analytics experienceMuleSoft Developer CertificationExperience with cloud-native integrations and event-driven architecturesExperience supporting both HCM and Financials domainsKey CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder managementAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong documentation skillsContinuous learning mindsetCustomer-focused approachSuccess MetricsIntegration uptime and reliabilityIncident resolution timeSuccessful delivery of integration projectsReduction in manual processesData quality and accuracy improvementsStakeholder satisfaction
