Workplace AV Engineer

The Company:One of ANZ leading Audio-Visual integrators is looking to make a key hire to their senior engineering team. The company have a large presence across New Zealand and are working with enterprise corporate clients, government bodies and leading educational bodies.The Role:We are looking to hire an AV Workplace Commissioning Engineer / Support Engineer to fulfill the following responsibilities:Perform customer support, troubleshooting, and remediation on a range of MTR & AV systems, remotely & onsite.Read and interpret Audio-Visual systems drawings and specifications.Install control programs and touch panel design onsite, offsite, and remotely in physical systems.Pre-Stage & Test integrated Audio-Visual systems and perform troubleshooting as neededAssist manufacturers and customers with problem resolution as needed.Travel to various job sites and provide support as required.Provide guidance to the AV installations teams as needed.Ensure a strong focus on customer satisfaction and the efficient delivery of services.Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Minimum 3 years’ experience working with a commercial audio-visual integrator in a support or commissioning role.Fantastic communication & interpersonal skills; confidence in dealing with others.Understanding of Audio-Visual systems and programming languages.Proficient in uploading and downloading software in embedded systems.Understand DSP best practices and setup/troubleshooting.Ability to diagnose and test complex system problems.Understanding of Microsoft Teams Room and associated systems. (Cisco, HP-Poly, Logi, Yealink, Neat, etc)Understanding of computer networking and troubleshooting pertaining to Audio-Visual and video conferencingExcellent base salary + car allowance on topHybrid working environment / WFH
