The company’s success is driven by the combined industry expertise of its team and a commitment to quality products and reliable service.Role Description The Workshop Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Harare, Zimbabwe. This role oversees day-to-day workshop operations, including planning, allocating, and supervising work for the Company's vehicle service department. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.Responsibilities include working on, and coordinating maintenance and repair activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and monitoring productivity and resource usage. The Workshop Foreman supports the team through hands-on technical guidance, problem-solving on complex mechanical issues, and verifying that jobs are completed accurately and on schedule. The role also involves communicating with management and other departments, maintaining workshop records, and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and customer service.RequirmentsTrade certificate / diploma in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent.Minimum 4+ years’ Class 1 experience in light duty vehicles with known brands.Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair techniques and workshop tools.Ability to work unsupervised off site, and lead a team and manage workflow effectively Commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.Proven ability to enforce safety standards and comply with company policies and industry regulations.Experience in parts usage, inventory awareness, and collaboration with stores or procurement teams is an advantage.
