Workshop Manager

Key Responsibilities

Manage and operate the automotive service center and oversee daily workflow.Supervise technicians, assign work orders, and monitor productivity.Review and diagnose vehicle faults, ensuring diagnostic accuracy before repairs are carried out.Monitor the quality of maintenance work and conduct final vehicle inspections before delivery.Review quotations and ensure required work is approved before execution.Follow up on repeat repairs and technical complaints, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.Control spare parts consumption and minimize waste and technical errors.Monitor the performance and discipline of the technical team and support employee development.Prepare and monitor operational reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Improve the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the service center.Qualifications & Requirements:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Automotive Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive maintenance, preferably with previous supervisory or managerial experience.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle diagnostics.Experience in managing automotive service centers or workshops.Strong leadership and team management skills.Ability to analyze problems and make sound technical decisions.Proficiency in computer applications and maintenance management systems.Good communication and customer service skills.
