Workshop Supervisor – Al Safi Danone (ASD)Location: Al Kharj – FarmDepartment: Maintenance and Utilities – Workshop SectionRole SummaryThe Workshop Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all workshop maintenance activities related to heavy and light equipment across farm operations. The role focuses on ensuring the effective execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, optimizing equipment reliability, managing workshop resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment availability, operational efficiency, and safety.Key AccountabilitiesMaintenance PlanningDevelop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for heavy and light equipment.Plan spare parts requirements and ensure effective inventory control.Coordinate maintenance priorities to support operational requirements and minimize equipment downtime.Workshop OperationsSupervise workshop maintenance activities for heavy and light equipment.Delegate maintenance tasks and provide technical support to technicians.Ensure diesel engines, heavy machinery, and related equipment are maintained according to company standards.Technical Leadership & Problem SolvingProvide technical guidance and hands-on support for complex maintenance activities.Train and develop workshop technicians to improve technical capabilities.Identify equipment issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.Resource & Performance ManagementMonitor maintenance progress, quality, and compliance with company procedures.Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, tools, spare parts, and workshop resources.Maintain accurate maintenance records and support performance reporting.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve workshop efficiency and equipment reliability.Implement initiatives that enhance safety, maintenance quality, and service performance.Support continuous improvement programs to optimize maintenance operations.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline (Heavy Equipment specialization preferred).Minimum 5–8 years of experience in heavy and light equipment maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance planning and scheduling.Experience supervising workshop operations, technicians, and maintenance activities.Knowledge of diesel engines, heavy equipment, and workshop maintenance practices.Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Good reporting and documentation skills.Proficient in EnglishJoin Al Safi Danone and be part of a company committed to excellence, innovation, and continuous growth.
