Job Description: WPRWe’re Hiring!We are seeking an experienced WPR to join our team for Saudi Aramco–approved and others Potential clients’ projects, ensuring high-quality construction, safety, and compliance with engineering standards.Role PurposeResponsible for receiving, understanding, implementing, and closing work permits and ensuring that work activities are executed in accordance with applicable Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements and site HSE procedures.Key Responsibilities• Receive and review work permits before commencement of work.• Verify worksite conditions and required safety precautions.• Conduct/participate in toolbox talks and pre-job safety discussions.• Ensure permit requirements are communicated to the work crew.• Verify required PPE and safety controls.• Coordinate with permit issuers, supervisors, and HSE personnel.• Stop work where permit conditions or safety requirements are violated.• Monitor permit validity and worksite conditions.• Suspend/revalidate permits where required.• Ensure proper permit closure upon completion of activities.• Support compliance with client PTW procedures.Qualifications & Experience• Relevant technical qualification.• Minimum 3 years of industrial/construction experience preferred.• Previous WPR/PTW experience required.• Client-approved WPR certification shall be required where mandated by the assigned project.Technical Competencies• Permit-to-Work systems.• Job Safety Analysis/JSA.• Hazard identification.• Hot work/cold work requirements.• Confined-space and excavation awareness.• LOTO awareness.• Toolbox talks and worksite safety controls.Preference: Candidates holding a valid Saudi Aramco WPR certification/approval may be prioritized for Saudi Aramco-related projects.GENERAL RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTSCandidates should demonstrate:• Relevant academic/technical qualifications for the position.• Relevant industrial, construction, infrastructure, Oil & Gas, or EPC experience.• Good written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams.• Strong commitment to safety, quality, cost, and schedule.• Professional accountability and ability to work in a developing project organization.• Previous Saudi Arabia experience is preferred.• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, or other major Saudi industrial clients is an advantage where relevant to the position.• English communication capability appropriate to the position.HEMAMCO reserves the right to assess candidates against project-specific client requirements, professional certifications, technical competencies, and relevant experience before final selection.
