Prestige Staffing is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician (Radiologic Technologist) for a direct hire role in Atlanta, GA near Northside Hospital main campus. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic imaging while delivering excellent patient care. This role supports providers and teammates by ensuring patients get roomed quickly and providing backup with vitals and demographics.DetailsSchedule: Monday - Friday 8-5Location: Sandy Springs, GAPay: $28-32/hr.Excellent benefitsFree parkingKey ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and specialized X-ray exams according to provider orders and established protocolsVerify patient identity, explain procedures, and position patients correctly to obtain optimal imagesFollow radiation safety and ALARA standards; provide appropriate shielding and safety educationOperate and maintain radiology equipment; complete daily/weekly QC checks as requiredEnsure images are properly labeled and sent to PACS/RIS/EMR; document procedures accuratelyRecognize imaging artifacts/quality issues and repeat images when clinically necessaryMaintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and follow infection-control/cleaning standardsCommunicate findings/concerns appropriately to providers and radiologists (within scope)Support patient flow by coordinating with front desk, nursing/MA staff, and cliniciansComply with HIPAA, facility policies, and all applicable state/federal regulationsHelp when not doing x-rays with patient flow, getting vitals, demographics entered into the Epic system Required Qualifications1+ year of recent X-ray experience (urgent care/outpatient preferred)Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology programEpic experience is strongly preferredARRT (R) certification (or eligibility with ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)Current state license (if required in your state)Current BLS/CPR certificationStrong knowledge of positioning, anatomy, radiation physics/safety, and image quality standardsExcellent patient-service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentInternal medicine, urgent care, family practice or primary care preferredExperience with digital radiography (DR) and PACSSpanish / bilingual skills a plus Work Environment / Physical RequirementsAbility to stand/walk for extended periods and assist with patient transfers/positioningAbility to lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance as needed)Comfortable working around medical equipment and adhering to PPE/infection-control proceduresApply today for immediate consideration.#ZR-Pro
