The organization’s multidisciplinary team brings expertise in public health, social marketing and franchising, capacity building, community development, program management, research, behavior change communication, and hospital management.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site X-Ray Technician role based in Chhattisgarh, India. The X-Ray Technician will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including taking and processing X-ray images as per prescribed protocols and physician orders. Daily responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, operating radiologic equipment, ensuring accurate image quality, and maintaining up-to-date records and reports. The role involves adhering strictly to radiation safety standards, infection control practices, and clinical protocols while providing respectful, clear communication and support to patients and clinical teams. The X-Ray Technician will also assist in equipment maintenance, quality assurance checks, and coordination with radiologists and medical staff to support timely diagnosis and treatment.Qualifications Strong foundation in Radiology and Radiologic Technology, with practical experience in diagnostic imaging procedures.Demonstrated knowledge of Radiation Safety practices, including safe operation of X-ray equipment and adherence to regulatory guidelines.Professional certification such as American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent recognized qualification, where applicable.Understanding of Medicine and basic human anatomy to support accurate imaging and collaboration with healthcare professionals.Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology or related discipline from a recognized institution.Experience working in hospital or clinical settings, preferably in resource-constrained or community-focused environments.Attention to detail, ability to follow protocols, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.Effective communication skills, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and readiness to work on-site in Chhattisgarh.
