Core offerings include blood panels (CBC, LFT, KFT, cardiac profiles), imaging services (ECG, X-ray, USG), specialized infectious disease testing, parasitology and stool analysis, reproductive and pregnancy monitoring, and field sample collection.Role Description The Xray Technician will perform animal radiographic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images that support accurate veterinary assessment and treatment. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing animals and equipment for X-rays, positioning patients safely and humanely, operating imaging machinery, and following strict radiation safety protocols. The role also involves maintaining and calibrating radiology equipment, documenting procedures and findings, collaborating with veterinarians and lab staff, and upholding cleanliness and infection control standards in imaging areas. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Barabazar, requiring consistent presence to support daily clinical operations and urgent diagnostic needs.Qualifications Strong foundation in Radiology and Radiologic Technology, with the ability to perform and interpret standard animal X-ray procedures.Demonstrated knowledge of Radiation Safety practices, including proper shielding, dose monitoring, and safe handling of imaging equipment.Relevant certification or eligibility with bodies such as the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent radiologic credential.Understanding of basic Medicine principles related to veterinary diagnostics and imaging for small and large animals.Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; veterinary imaging experience is highly desirable.Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during imaging procedures.Attention to detail, accurate record-keeping skills, and familiarity with digital imaging systems (PACS, DICOM) is an advantage.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and laboratory staff.Commitment to ethical clinical practice, infection control, and continuous learning in veterinary radiology.
