The company manages the full transaction lifecycle, including valuation and pricing, listing preparation, photography and marketing, representation of buyers and sellers, sea trials, survey coordination, post-survey negotiation, escrow, closing, and documentation. Vessels range from center consoles to sportfish and motor yachts, supported by a collaborative decision-making structure where major decisions are voted on by staff and brokers, and each broker is paired with a Broker Liaison to keep their focus on clients and vessels. A sister company, Spencer Christopher Yacht Management, provides vessel care across several Florida counties and the Bahamas, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to the highest standards and full representation for all parties.Role Description This full-time remote Yacht Broker role focuses on building and managing client relationships, representing buyers and sellers, and guiding them through the full yacht transaction process. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting market research and vessel valuations, preparing and updating listings, coordinating photography and marketing materials, and managing inquiries and showings. The Yacht Broker will organize and attend sea trials and surveys (in person as needed), coordinate with surveyors and other marine professionals, support post-survey negotiations, and work closely with the Broker Liaison on documentation, escrow, and closing activities. The role requires consistent communication with clients across the Eastern Seaboard, the Bahamas, and Costa Rica, accurate maintenance of deal pipelines and records, and adherence to company standards and applicable maritime and brokerage regulations. The Yacht Broker participates in collaborative house decisions, contributes to continuous improvement of brokerage processes, and represents the Spencer Christopher brand with professionalism and integrity.QualificationsStrong sales, negotiation, and client relationship skills, with experience managing high-value or complex transactions.Knowledge of yachts and marine vessels, including basic technical understanding of systems, layouts, and performance characteristics.Ability to perform market research and comparative valuations, prepare accurate pricing recommendations, and analyze transaction data.Proficiency in digital tools for listing management, CRM systems, online marketing platforms, and remote communication.Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft listings, emails, and transaction updates.Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple listings, clients, and deadlines across different regions.
