Apply & track with Apply EdgeEspen Oeino International is looking for an Exterior Yacht Designer for its Large Yacht Group.The applicant should have ideally have 3 to 5 years work experience in a design office, shipyard or equivalent. The position requires the candidate to assist in the creation of large custom yachts, working across the entire layout and exterior design spectrum under the supervision of a senior team member throughout the design and construction of the project.The candidate will be part of a collaborative, in-office team designing bespoke superyachts from the start and help to develop creative layouts, exterior styling, outfitting and exterior deck spaces.This position is to be performed on-site at our Monaco office, five days a week.RESPONSABILITIESo Creative and team interactive development of custom superyachts designso Contribution in developing and refining General Arrangement (GA) planso Optimization of space planning with due regard to safety, operational efficiency and guest experienceo Exterior styling, shaping and surface language developmento Layout of exterior deck living spaces including beach clubs, dining and lounging areas, sundecks, and helidecko Design of custom exterior furniture and bespoke deck hardware and outfittingo Creation of preliminary 3D models and complex exterior surfaceso Preparation of photorealistic environments, real-time visualization and interactive walkthroughso Creation of Client presentationso Production of deliverables for shipyardo Integration of technical constraints, practical considerations, safety and regulations into the designREQUIREMENTSo The candidate must be eligible to work in Monacoo The candidate must have a degree in Yacht Design, Automotive/Transport Design, Industrial Design, or Naval Architectureo 3 to 5 years of experience in a design office or shipyard with a portfolio highlighting marine or automotive projects is preferredo Strong spatial awareness with an understanding of ergonomicso Ability and desire to work full-time, 100% on-site in a collaborative studio environmento Proficiency in Rhino and strong working knowledge of Siemens NX is a pluso Fluent in spoken and written EnglishSKILLS o Hand sketchingo 2D CAD drawing and 3D complex surface and solid modelingo Detailed furniture and outfitting design capabilitieso GA layout and space planning proficiency is a pluso Ability to work within a team with a collaborative, pro-active and self-motivated attitudeo Keen interest in the evolution of design tools (AI, visualisation)CONTACTPlease send your resume and portfolio to: recruitment@eoi.mcwith the subject: LY202608A – Your name
