The company is committed to long-term partnerships with both clients and talent, emphasizing reliability, quality, and career growth opportunities for the professionals it places.Role Description The Yacht Marine Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, responsible for maintaining and repairing yacht mechanical and auxiliary systems. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting engines and propulsion systems, performing scheduled servicing, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and carrying out repairs on engines, generators, steering, and hydraulic systems. The role also involves conducting preventive maintenance, checking safety and navigation equipment functionality, and documenting all work performed in maintenance logs. The mechanic will collaborate with captains, crew, and service vendors to plan maintenance downtime, ensure compliance with safety standards, and keep yachts in optimal operational condition for clients.Qualifications Strong skills in Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair of marine engines, propulsion systems, and onboard mechanical components.Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs, including scheduled inspections, servicing, and replacement of critical parts.Hands-on background working with Heavy Equipment or comparable large mechanical systems, preferably in marine or industrial environments.Proficiency in Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.Vocational diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent training in marine engineering, mechanics, or a related field.Knowledge of marine safety regulations, basic electrical systems, and hydraulic controls relevant to yacht operations.Ability to read technical drawings and service manuals, and maintain clear maintenance records and reports.Physical ability to work in confined spaces, on decks, and in varying weather conditions, following safety procedures at all times.Previous experience as a marine mechanic, yacht technician, or similar role is strongly preferred.Basic English communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with supervisors, crew, and service providers.
