The team is passionate about its products, extensively field tests them, and is committed to delivering excellent service and value to customers.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Yacht Sales role based in Southampton. The Yacht Sales professional will manage the end-to-end sales process, including responding to inquiries, qualifying prospects, conducting viewings and sea trials, and preparing proposals and sales documentation. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate listings, updating digital and print marketing materials, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and commissioning of yachts. The role involves building long-term relationships with private clients and trade partners, providing informed advice on models, specifications, and options, and offering post-sale support. The Yacht Sales professional will also attend shows, events, and open days, contributing to brand promotion and lead generation.Qualifications Strong sales and customer relationship skills, including consultative selling, negotiation, and follow-up.Knowledge of yachts, boating, or marine industry products, with the ability to learn detailed technical and brand-specific information.Competence in using CRM systems, email, and office software to manage leads, records, and documentation.Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in presenting to individuals and groups.Proactive, organized work style with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and tasks simultaneously.Willingness to work occasional weekends, holidays, and events, including boat shows and customer demonstrations.Prior experience in yacht sales, luxury goods, or high-value asset sales is highly beneficial.Valid UK driving licence and ability to travel to marinas, events, and client appointments as required.Comfort working in an on-site marina environment, including time on board yachts during inspections and trials.
