Delivery SkippersWe are looking to connect with experienced skippers capable of taking responsibility for the safe and professional delivery of sailing yachts and other suitable vessels.Qualifications and experience:RYA Yachtmaster Offshore or Yachtmaster Ocean, MCA Master, or an equivalent internationally recognized qualification.Commercial endorsement where applicable to the intended delivery and operating requirements.Valid STCW Basic Safety Training or an accepted equivalent, as required for the assignment.A valid seafarer medical certificate, such as ENG1 or an accepted equivalent, where applicable.Valid VHF/SRC or other relevant marine radio operator certification.The ability to assess vessel readiness, identify potential risks, and make sound decisions in changing conditions.Professional communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with yacht owners, agents, and the AEGIS coordination team.Applicants should be able to provide evidence of their qualifications and relevant sailing experience.2. Delivery Crew MembersWe are also building a network of capable and dependable crew members who can contribute to safe and well-managed yacht deliveries.Qualifications and experience:An RYA Day Skipper qualification or an equivalent recognized sailing qualification, or substantial practical sailing experience, ideally supported by approximately 1500 nautical miles of documented sea time.Practical experience in yacht handling, sail handling, anchoring, and general onboard operations.Familiarity with watchkeeping, navigation basics, onboard safety procedures, and life at sea.Offshore or multi-day passage experience is a strong advantage.The ability to work reliably as part of a crew, follow the skipper's instructions, and remain calm and adaptable in changing conditions.A responsible attitude towards safety, teamwork, vessel care, and professional conduct.Valid first-aid, marine radio, STCW, or other relevant safety qualifications are beneficial and may be required for specific assignments.We value practical ability, sound judgment, reliability, and a willingness to contribute to a professional onboard team. Relevant experience and equivalent qualifications will be considered alongside formal certificates.Additional ConsiderationsFor both skippers and crew members, the following are important:Verifiable credentials: Qualifications, certificates, and relevant sea time must be documented and available for verification.Professional references: References from previous skippers, yacht owners, employers, or delivery operators are welcome.International readiness: Applicants should have a valid passport and be able to meet the relevant travel, entry, and visa requirements for assignments they accept.Communication: A good working knowledge of English is important for international deliveries and coordination. Additional languages are an advantage.Availability and flexibility: The ability to travel and join vessels at different ports is beneficial.
