Nirvana Retreat provides a nurturing environment for therapeutic stays, dedicated yoga retreats, and immersive wellness programs.Role Description The Yoga Therapist will deliver individualized and group yoga therapy sessions aligned with the retreat’s holistic wellness philosophy. This full-time, on-site role in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, involves assessing guest needs, designing therapeutic yoga plans, and integrating breathwork, relaxation, and mindfulness practices. The Yoga Therapist will collaborate with Ayurveda and Naturopathy practitioners to support comprehensive treatment plans and monitor guest progress. Responsibilities include leading daily yoga classes, conducting consultations, maintaining accurate session documentation, and ensuring a safe and inclusive practice environment. The role also includes contributing to wellness workshops, retreats, and guest education on sustainable lifestyle and self-care practices.Qualifications Strong foundation in Yoga Therapy principles, asana alignment, pranayama, and meditation techniques.Experience designing personalized yoga programs for diverse physical, emotional, and wellness needs.Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary wellness teams, including therapists and doctors.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and client-centered approach.Certification or diploma in Yoga Therapy or Yoga Instruction from a recognized institution; additional training in Ayurveda or holistic health is an advantage.Prior experience in wellness centers, retreats, or clinical yoga settings is preferred.Ability to maintain professional boundaries, accurate records, and high standards of safety and ethics.Comfort working with international guests and culturally diverse populations; proficiency in English required, additional languages are a plus.
