We're building a place people are proud to be part of.The OpportunityPosition: 503A Compounding Pharmacist – Production & VerificationSchedule: Monday–Friday | Second Shift | 2:00 PM–10:30 PMThis is an opportunity to play an important leadership role in a growing pharmacy where your expertise directly impacts patient safety, medication quality, and the success of our team.You'll oversee both sterile and non-sterile compounding production, lead and support compounding technicians, and perform final pharmacist verification and release of compounded preparations.

What You'll Do

Lead and oversee daily sterile and non-sterile compounding production, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality.Perform final pharmacist verification of compounded preparations, including formulations, calculations, labeling, and documentation.Ensure medications are released only after all applicable quality, safety, and regulatory requirements have been satisfied.Maintain compliance with applicable 503A requirements and USP Chapters 795, 797, and 800.Mentor, coach, and support compounding technicians while promoting a culture of accountability and teamwork.Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to strengthen workflows, improve processes, and support continued growth.Your leadership won't just help us produce exceptional medications. It will help us build an exceptional team.Who We're Looking ForWe're looking for more than an experienced pharmacist. We're looking for someone who leads with integrity, takes pride in their work, and shares our passion for making a difference.What You'll Bring:PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state required by the pharmacy.Previous 503A pharmacy and sterile compounding experience.IV Certification required.Strong knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding, production oversight, final verification, and quality assurance.Understanding of applicable USP Chapters 795, 797, and 800 and pharmacy regulatory requirements.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.A genuine commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.Experience managing compounding production, overseeing cleanroom operations, or working with peptides, hormone replacement therapies, and testosterone replacement therapies is a plus.Let's Build Something Extraordinary Together.At Optimal Balance Pharmacy, we're not simply preparing for growth.
